Senior parishioners gather once a month to enjoy fellowship over a home cooked meal. It is a time to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Meals are served in the parish center dining room at noon on the second Wednesday of the month, September through May.
If you would like to help, you can do so in a variety of different ways:
Driving homebound parishioners to and from the parish center.
Cooking a side dish.
Maria plans the menu and prepares the main course. She sends out a listing of side dishes and desserts about two weeks before the meal, and you can choose what you would like to prepare and bring over. You would be preparing enough food for 10-20 people.
Set-up, serving, and clean-up. Laying tables, filling water pitchers, etc., before the meal, helping plate the food and clean up after.
All volunteers at the meal are welcome to sit down and share the meal with the guests.
If you or someone you know would like to attend or volunteer, please contact Maria Habib, Pastoral Assistant.
